DOG RIVER LIBRARY
JOB TYPE: New Con - Govt
CUSTOMER : Benning Construction
JOB COMPLETION DATE: Fall 2011
HCC was called in to finish this project after a failed attempt by another contractor. That dynamic always makes things interesting as we had to determine what products and colors were used where and if the prior contractor’s prep work was acceptable. The exposed ceiling structure in this library consists of wood timber trusses and tongue and groove decking. The trusses and decking were stained different colors. This created a beautiful effect but was very labor intensive to complete. HCC worked closely with Benning’s management to get this project back on schedule and finish on time.
