HCC attended the CEFGA Skills USA Expo (Construction Education Foundation of Georgia) on March 22nd and 23rd. Over 5000 students and 700 teachers counselors and advisors learned more about careers in the construction industry, including commercial painting.
There were dozens of competitions where students showed off their skills and hands on exhibits where many tried their hand at everything from climbing roofs to welding. See some highlights below.
Xbox Drawing
The other drawing we sponsored was for a new Xbox 1S where the entrants posted their “Future Painter Selfies“. The winner is being notified on Facebook.
It was a very exciting event for all concerned. We, at Harrison Contracting Company would like to thank everyone who participated and especially those who took the time to speak with us and enter our drawings.
This year Harrison Contracting offered two drawings
