The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is the premier sports car series in North America. Powered by the strength of NASCAR, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship features manufacturers and drivers from around the world battling to compete at many of the most loved sports car venues in the United States and Canada. Wayne Taylor Racing (WTR) with Andretti Autosport competes in the GTP and GTD Classes, which features the fastest and most technologically advanced cars in North America and well as in the North American Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series. The No. 45 Dex Imaging Lamborghini is part of the GTD class. The GT Daytona cars are enhanced (not defined by) technology and utilize the global FIA GT3 specification. The GTD class consists of cars from leading manufacturers such as Acura, Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lexus, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche.
